Aida Al Kindy is a highly accomplished Clinical Research Head Nurse with over 20 years of diverse experience in oncology nursing, clinical research coordination, and quality management. Currently leading nurses in the Clinical Trials Department at the Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Center in Oman, she plays a pivotal role in study start-up, regulatory compliance, staff training, and trial oversight.

Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master’s in Quality Management, and certifications in oncology nursing (CON(C)), clinical research (CCRA), and healthcare quality (CPHQ). She has also completed numerous specialized courses in GCP, Health Canada Division 5, and adult health assessment, reflecting her strong commitment to continuous professional development.

Aida has a proven track record in coordinating and managing complex clinical trials, particularly in oncology across various phases (I-4), and is skilled in working with investigational drugs, device studies, and observational research. She has extensive hands-on experience in patient care involving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies, and is well-versed in using RECIST and CTCAE criteria.

Her international experience spans leading institutions in Canada and the UAE, where she successfully conducted clinical trials, collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, and led quality improvement initiatives.
